Elk NetworkUrge Congressional Lawmakers: Don’t Sell Federal Public Land

General , RMEF Working for You | June 17, 2025

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation strongly opposes a measure placed in the budget reconciliation bill that calls for the sale of 2 to 3 million acres of Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service land.

If passed as is, it would reduce access to public land for hunting and other activities.

Please click here to encourage Senate members to remove the provision while calling on House representatives to support the Public Lands Caucus, and its emphasis to conserve public lands and expand public access.
